copy ODBC connection from one PC to another

Hi All,

Does anyone know of a utility or an easy way to copy ODBC connections from one pc to another. I have about 20 connections setup and would like to avoid searching for passwords and SID's etc.

The file and transfer wizard from Windows XP may do this - unless they are Oracle ones kept in the tnsnames.ora file in which cas you can just copy over that file.

Thanks for responding. The odbc connections do certainly use the tnsnames.ora file so that is important to copy over but unfortunately its more complicated than that.

I will try find out more info on the windows transfer wizard.

There is another file that goes with tnsnames.ora that you need to copy but I can't remember what it is - have a lookin the folder where you find tnsnames.ora and there are typically only 2 or 3 other files.
