Hi,
I have some educational cds which are perfectly fine but after a few minutes in my laptop, they warp and won't play until cool again.
So I thought that I'd copy them to my hard drive and then back to a dvd.
Their format is cdfs - is there a software package that will convert the data to the hdd and then to a dvd format. Also, what precautions should I take since I tried this sort of thing some time back and lost all the original data!
Thanks in advance,
Richard.

Copy to a virtual drive and run then from there.

Use something like Alcohol 120% to create a virtual drive on your PC click here
