Copied HDD won`t boot into Win XP Pro

I decided to upgrade from a 60gb HDD to a 120GB. Rather than re-loading everything I also acquired Drive Image by Powerquest as it also had a copy disk option. After a few hours of transfering all the files and Windows XP Pro it finally completed the task. So disconnecting the old drive and connecting the new drive as master I re-booted. Everything went fine I got the Welcome screen and then the system hung. I tried a few reboots but nothing. I reconnected the old drive as a slave but then got the multiple OS screen option.

Anyone have any ideas why the new disk would not boot into XP.

I have since reforamtted the new drive but at each boot I still keep getting the multiple OS screen. Help.
