How do i delete the above and know that they are deleted?

If you using Firefox, follow the given steps:
1. Open Firefox and click on the "Tools" menu.
2. In the "Tools" menu, select "Options".
3. From along the left side of the window select the "Privacy" icon.
5. The option to erase the temporary Internet file "Cookies" is near the bottom of the list.
6. Click "Clear" to delete cookies.

Ok similar to above but on my toolbar,
1. select "Tools"
2. select "internet options"
3. select tab "General" which it is probably on
4. select "browsing history"
5. select "delete cookies"

If you were still having a problem, that could be the layout on your computer.

oh apologies, I thought john bunyan was recommending using a downloaded tool, I now see that one of his suggestions was the same as mine.
