Using win XP Home and aol broadband

Over the past few days I seem to have accumulated a lot of cookies. I can clean them ok with Mcafee quickclean. Is there anything that can be done to prevent them getting on to the PC?

Thanks for any help or advice given.

They will not do any harm and you may need them for some sites. Just use click here once a week and forget about them.

As GANDALF <|:-)> but I would configure CCleaner to save the cookies you want/need and then use CCleaner after every browsing session.
