Converting SCSI to USB

I've got a Epson Perfection 1200S scanner which connects to my pc via a SCSI cable. I would like to use the scanner on another PC which has no more PCI slots available for the SCSI card to fit. Is it possible to get an adapter to convert the SCSI connection to a USB connection?

Yes. Adaptec do one, but with a ?50 price tag it's cheaper to buy a new scanner. There may be others which are cheaper. Do a Google search.

your SCSI scanner will be desperately slow on the USB1 port.

Assuming the drivers support such a configuration. Which a ha'me doubts!!!!
