I have some saved photographs which, for some reason, are .bmp and I would like to convert them to .jpg or .gif. Is there a way to do this?

Yes, using Pica View32 ..... you should be able to download the program and then use the details in this link to make it the Full Program - it really is excellent.

When you have installed and registered the full version of Picaview32 right-click on any photo in your My Pictures folder and then go to View, and you will see Convert in the drop-down options. It is absolute childs-play!

Thanks folks. I think I should be able to do it now, particularly if it is child's play! If I fail, I will then grab a passing child.

PS ... Version 1.32 is Free!

Hi Marg, I have been using PicaView for years, converting .bmp - .jpg does not adversely affect the quality or size at all.
