Converting .pdf to .doc

There's seems to be an endless list of free progs that convert Word to PDF but not vice versa.

I've tried a few Demos that are function limited, i.e. they convert a small sample of .pdf to .doc. Maybe I'll have to pay for some prog.

Can anybody recommend one that is easy and quick to use? Many thanks.

If you use the latest version Acrobat Reader, you can try using cut and paste - cut from the .pdf - paste into Word.

Thanks - I've just updated Adobe Reader - I'll try that ...............

My Adobe Reader is v. 7 and it seems as if the update is complete. As far as I can see, it's as bad (!) and difficult to use as previous versions.

I can click on the camera icon, get a re-sizeable box, copy the highlighted area, then paste that onto a Word document. The copy is still a 'photograph' and not in editable format.

Have I missed some other function?

Cheers.

Think I've got it ............

Click 'File' then click 'Save As Text', open the 'Notepad' (Text Document), copy, then paste onto the Word document ..............
