Converting old-ish word processor files to pc

Need to convert Canon Starwriter 70 files to Windows. It came with a disk for putting pc onto Starwriter, but nothing for other way around. Anybody know if it's possible and if so how /where I can get it done. Cheers.

I have no knowledge of what the Canon Starwriter 70 is, my guess from the references I have seen on the Web is some sort of typewriter / word processor. If this is so then my only suggestion is that if you can convert / save them as text files (.txt) then they can be later opened and saved in all versions of Word.

If you open Word, then File - Open - and try the "Recover Text from any File" file type.

there was an option to save as - plain unformatted text.
