Converting MPg to DVD

Can anyone recomend a program, preferably a freebie, that will covert my saved mpg files to DVD format. Thanks

i'm not sure if bink video tools do it but they are great at converting files, also nero is very good but thats not free :/

Tried Nero but it doesn't recognise the mpg format.

wobbler, that's strange because I use Nero and I don't have any problem. In fact I have just burnt an MPG to DVD and it is now .vob files and plays fine.

What version of Nero do you have?

I use nero and it converts mpg to dvd ok, did you have the required codecs installed.

When I try and use Nero I still get "unrecognised file format"

OK, that shouldn't be a problem but you might like to update it to 6.6.1.4 at click here

You will need to download Package 1 and Package 2.

Once done and updated you need to go to "Photo and Video" and then select "Make your own DVD- Video"

Select "Add video Files" from the list. Point to the location where your Mpg file is and follow the prompts.
