Converting MP3's to AAC

  chrismuir 16:24 05 Dec 05

Have got iTunes, and most of my library is in MP3 format (all copied at 192kbs) from when i copied my CD's to my PC. Obviously the purchased music is in iTunes default format (AAC?) which seems to be more space efficient.

Only have the 20Gb iPod and it is almost full. Rather than deleting loads of tracks from iTunes, is there an easy way to convert my MP3 tracks to the AAC format, without loosing the information in my playlists/favourite track ratings etc?
