I bought an Acer computer and it was advertise with 160gb however the c drive was partioned as NTFS and the d drive is partioned as FAT32 both are 80gb. Can I join the two together and use it as one complete hardrive?

Also the letters and numbers above are the names of files that sit on the d drive which I haven't put there, are these essential to the computer if I partition the drive and i lose them?(there are many more by the way)

Does anyone have any ideas?
