Converting CD's to MP3 format

I have just bought a very nice little mini CD/MP3 player which takes the 8cm cd's - I am now trying to put some music from some CD's of mine on to the mini CD but can't for the life of me remember how to convert .cda tracks to MP3 and what if any software I need to do this - I have got Nero and Nero Express.

Thanks in advance

Try MusicMatch from musicmatch.com - it makes the whole process very simple.

seconded

I use MusicMatch, haven't needed to try anything else, it does it all, and it is relatively cheap.

PS. Musicmatch 'rips' from CD straight into mp3 format, without having to record to .wav first. I'm sure other applications must now do it, but i think MM was one of the first.

anyway good ripping !
