convert network laptop to home laptop

  pookie 12:52 12 Jan 07

Work has a samsung laptop which is being sold for home use - ie does not need any network drives etc it is currently tied to.

It currently has 2 x network drives detected under My Computer. By deleting them will that be ok? How do I change the settings so that the new owner will not need to enter the current user name and password in order for the laptop to boot up. Is there any easy way of deleting all my outlook/email addresses and settings etc whilst still leaving the outlook programme installed?

Cheers guys

Your best bet is to format and reinstall Windows; does it come with an operating system? If not, then you will need to buy one.
