Convert Access 2000 to Open Office Base

  Jac487 12:51 11 Feb 10

I am trying to convert a Access Database to Open Office Base 3.1.
I have tried converting to Access 2007 then link to OO Base twice did not work.
I have tried convertin Access to Excel then opening in Calc but I can't go from Calc to Base.
The only solution seem to make new base and copy and paste individual fields.

Any advise to convert quickly greatfullly received.

I ran a search on Google and it looks like the only thing that you may be able to do is copy across the tables - and that is all.

Just copy your title thread into a Google search, and you'll see what I mean.

Not good news, I'm afraid.

You could export it as a comma-separated values (csv) file and then import this into OO Base. If there are multiple tables, you would have to move each one separately.

Thanks for advice. Looks like rebuilding Database.
