Content Management - have I understood it?

I've had a site for a couple of years and I'd like to pass the day to day updating of it onto someone else (as yet unknown) If they are not familiar with webdesign but are computer literate, am I right in assuming there's something called CMS which enables them to update it but not to spoil the basic site I've made? NOF, which my site is built in, advertise N-Power - anyone know about this? Or are there others? How easy are they to operate, and how exactly do I 'put' such a thing onto my site?
...or have I just got the wrong idea completely?

N-Power is pretty good and is very easy to use. Not a world apart from Contribute.

do you use?

N-Power works with version 9, which mco has.

Yes, I know, but that wasn't why I asked.

  ade.h 18:03 16 Sep 06

Oh, I see. Or rather, I don't. Why did you ask?

  mco 19:31 16 Sep 06

Yes, so why did you ask then?!

He's very enigmatic.
