Constant PC restarts when in-game

Well whenever I start a nice game with decent 3D graphics, my PC restarts itself after a random period of time. This has become quite disturbing especially when I play online games with my buddies. Any ideas what may be causing this? I have a decent graphics card that is above the minimum & the recommended requirements for the specific game, also I have an additional cooler attatched so I think overheating isnt the problem... Thx in advance.

make sure you have the latest drivers for the graphics card from their web site.

Could be the Ram.
Is it a decent make or generic?

When it re-starts go straight into the Bios and record the temperatures.

The others have the right idea I think. Its either overheating, or a bad graphics driver or faulty RAM. Or it could be a failing graphics card. I had a 9800 Pro which ran perfectly till I played a 3D game and then it crashed, also worth checking out your power supply rating, if its low and the graphics card is demanding too much power it also could cause it to restart.
