Connects to network, no access though

Ok, here's a noodle scratcher.

My home LAN consists of an XP system wired to a Netgear DG834GT router, with an additional WIN2K system connecting through the access point.

Problem is, the WIN2K now has no internet access, and cannot see or be seen on the network. All IP addresses, MAC addresses and gateways etc, etc are correct. The system even connects to the network (or so it says) and receives a good strength signal from the router - any ideas what is wrong or how to overcome the problem?

Its driving me mad!

Cheers :-)

Has the 2K machine ever seen the net?

Yes, the network itself has being running since January with no problems. All of a sudden this happens.

On the Win2K, right-click on the wireless icon and click Repair.

If that makes no difference, check your firewall settings.
