A friend has just purchased an HP laptop from Tescos with Windows Vista Home and is having great difficulty connecting to the Internet. There is an option to use BT or Orange. The BT setup went one stage from the end and then closed. The orange setup just closes down and restarts the system. I have tried to set it up manually and Internet Explorer will not open and the address displayed is click here&

Any ideas?

If your ISP is AOL you'll need to set up for that.

Then set-up for your ISP. You should have a name and password to connect.

A new laptop and IE doesn't open? I'd take it back. Even offline IE7 should open.
