Connection problems

  harley2 22:23 24 Jun 04

Every time I try to connect to the internet, the connection is broken after a few minutes. My system is Windows 98. It also freezes occasionally and once the connection is lost, I have to reboot the computer to get the dial up screen again. Also, when the connection is broken, Norton is disabled. Can anyone help?

If you are on Dial-Up and you are reading a page or thread too long then if it's like my ISP it will disconnect you. You could set your e-mail to check for mail about every minute, to see if it stop's you being disconnected
