Connection Complexion

Hi, I'm Kevin, and I'm new to this forum. I just joined because I have a problem that local retailers can't seem to help me with. Here it is. What I would like to do is hook 2 PC's together and use either one without disconnecting anything from the monitor, mouse, printer, and so on. That's 2 PC's, 1 monitor and 1 mouse and 1 printer. You'd think that sort of thing would be easy to do, but apparently in my neck of the woods it ain't.
Here's my question to the forum. Does anybody know the necessary equipment to get me connected, and can they direct me to an Internet company that sells such equipment? Thanks for your time!
K

You'll need a splitter for the monitors, and a switch for the printer, or you could set up the printer as a network printer and do it that way.
