Hi, I've just got ADSL and have it up and running fine on my XP machine. I cannot get my 98 machine to access the internet though.

I'm using a Netgear DG-824M (connected via Ethernet to XP machine) and a D-Link DWL-120+ USB wireless adapter on the 98 machine. The DWL-120+ will connect to the Netgear router with a good signal strength and quality.

The problem I'm having is that I can't get Windows 98SE to access the internet through the wireless adapter. When I launch IE6 it looks for proxy settings for a few seconds then changes to retrieving click here .com , then gives a DNS error.

Can anyone help me out please?
