Is it possible to connect the sound output from my Cd rom and CD RW to my sound card.

Thank you Ken700

Normally there will be more than one input on the card, maybe marked Aux - you can use that for the second one.

most computer accessory shops can fix you up with a lead that has two cd rom connections to one sound card, i use one and its ok

If you have Digital Audio enabled in Device Manager it doesn't matter about the audio cables to your sound card - all data transfer is done through the IDE cable.

DieSse is right, use the aux for the cd writer and the norm for your cd/dvd drive
