Connecting Sony T610 via Bluetooth to Computer

  Rucksack 18:57 16 Jan 05

I have a Sony Ericsson mobile and have connected a Belkin F8T003 version2 to my computer which is running XP.

The devices make contact and I can transfer images from my computer to the mobile with no problems however when I attempt to transfer images from the mobile to computer it tells me it finds device but then "Connection Fails".

Have I omitted to do something? Or have I done something wrong?

Any help would be much appreciated folks!

Jsut a thought - has the PC got a firewall blocking the transfer?

its to do with the setting in your `bluetooth places`. you have to set it to accept whatever you are trying to send to the pc

Have you paired the devices? I had to do this to get it to transfer.
And also i found it easier to go to My Bluetooth Places Then search for devices on the computer and go to the OBEX file transfer fot the t610. Then you will get 3 folders, 'Pictures' 'Themes' and 'Sounds', in which you can drag files to and from using windows explorer and it will place it in the relavent place in the phone.
Hope this helps,
