connecting to pc to use braodband

I have pc run win xp pro and wife has pc run win 98se we both have ethernet cards to connect twin cable i also have t/west broadband can we set up a network so that the broadband can be shared.
any help with this matter would be appreciated

Well I am not into Networking but Yes they can. But the host would have to be switched on to use the internet on the remote Comp. But if you used a BB router you could use any without the other comp on

computers are on all the time and they did work at one time perhaps better to have both using win xp pro
