Connecting my Laptop to a Sky+ HD box

I note that there is an Ethernet port on the back of my Sky+ HD box.

How do I connect my laptop up to it?
Is there an IP address I need to browse to?

At the moment I have the Sky box connected to my router (via Ethernet).
Looking with the routers GUI though, I dont see the Sky box as an attached device.

Thanks for any input,
Snaul.

As I understand it the Ethernet port is not currently usable but is there for posible future services.

Thanks anskyber.
I had a Sky engineer out to fix my box recently and I asked him about it.
He seemed to think I should be able to plug in an Ethernet cable and drag and drop recordings from my box to my PC.

Perhaps he was just trying to shut me up.

The Ethernet is not used, you can find more info on the sky website.
