I am trying to connect a laptop to a mobile phone so that I can send emails via my isp.

Could anyone direct me to a website that tells me how to do this. The phone is a Nokia 6310i and the laptop is a Movita rebadged as a Novatech.

Both have bluetooth and infra red connections but I don't know where to begin.

i can only say how i did mine, motorola and dell 8200,i downloaded a small prog from the motorola website, and using the infrared mobile phone laid it next to the laptop, went to control panel, modems, and it found the phone's modem which i set up like any other modem, but i did need a different access number from BT. it works well....

Bluetooth is automatic and if you have it on both your Laptop and Mobile, they should communicate.

You may also take a look click here Although this is not specific to your mobile, it may offer an indication of how to get started.
