I have a broadband router and network hub (Wireless) it is connected to my desktop PC and my Laptop is connected via a wireless PCMCIA card. The network is fine and the desktop PC connects to the broadband fine using the router modem. Can I get the laptop to connect to the same modem via the wireless netwrok, if so how do I do it? Thanks in advance.

how do you connect

correct way: router link to phone line

both desktop and wireless link to router

setup both router assign IP address automatically

lappy wireless adaptor, set up to get IP address automatically

sit down and enjoy

do some security house keeping

on your wireless router, enable MAC address filtering, so only your lappy access it (keep off nosy next door)

enable WEP on both wireless router and lappy
