Connecting the 6310i to PC Via bluetooth

I have purchased a Belkin F8T003 USB bluetooth adaptor, i have installed the software, drivers and the device itself. when i came to connect to the nokia pc suite it wouldn't work. The computer detects the phone. i am using windows XP

I have had a similar problem connecting the bluetooth via a Compaq multiport and the 6310i. It has still not been fully resolved because I can`t synchronise my Organizer 97 with it but all other functions are OK. i.e. Copy from phone to PC. Phone Editor etc.

Firstly you need the latest version of the Nokia PC suite version 4.88 - It is available from the nokia site.

Secondly, I had to take my phone to a Nokia agent to have the firmware upgraded. Check with Club Nokia (You have to sign up for free membership) & then contact them to check what you currently have on the phone. They will tell you a code to tap into the phone. click here

After that little lot you can then start to configure the computer and phone together. Keep me posted.
