Connecting 2 computers via the web

Hi - I am away soon on holiday and I would like if possible to remotely control my PC. I would like to be able to open emails, delete them etc.
I have seen a few programmes that say that they
can do this. Does anyone know if they work or the best way to do this.

if you have access to the web why do you need to get to your pc when I was on holiday I just logged in and typed the address of my e-mail and was then able to do everything with it.

I would recommened vnc from to be honest. Do you use a router or just a modem.

you can use remote desktop but that only works for internal network not external. VNC allows youaccess your comp externally

Hi - I tried VNC last night but had a problem getting it to work (I think that I had the wrong
static IP address). I now have loaded a programme
called "GoToMyPc". I have managed to get this to work but there is an annoying time delay between putting the mouse on an item on my desktop and it actually getting there. Does VNC have the same delays or is it a lot quicker?

Thanks - JoJoH
