Connect own Laptop to net from a Friend's House

I have succeeded, after a lot of trial and error and a big slice of luck in setting up a wireless network linking my PC and laptop. I can connect to the internet from each machine. My laptop connects to the internet even when the desktop is off.
My Question: My sister has just got broadband. When I visit, what do I need to do to be able to access the internet from my own laptop using her broadband connection.
I will have access to all codes.
I’m using Windows XP

There would need to be a router if your sister wants her PC connected at the same time.
If its a wired connection and a router then nothing, just an ethernet cable, CAT5 or better. Plug one end in to your laptop and the other in to the router.
If its wireless and wireless is on the laptop then just right click the wireless icon beside the clock and select connect to a network.
Enter the SSID (the name of the wireless access point eg linksys) and select the security eg WPA2 and enter the passphrase then hit connect.
