hi, i have 2 pc's both win XP and i can share my wireless broadband connection "no problem", but i am having problems trying to share files between the 2 comps, when i try, i get an error message which basically says that the modem is not connecting or working or installed, BUT i thought that as long as i have a wireless nic card in each comp, then that is how they would communicate, so any help please

just needed to bring it back to the top

Go to the XP Help & Support, look for Networking. You should get a tutorial on sharing folders. Basically, you have to tell the computer to share things.

Hve you enabled file sharing on both PC's . Can you ping one PC from the other?

what is ping ?

You have to run the Network setup Wizard on both PCs.
