Hi, the kids broke the wirless card in the laptop. I have replaced it iwth the same make & model. However, even though the laptop can find the connections, I cannot get it to connect. The router is protected by 128-bit WEP. in the laptop configurer I can imput a password (numbers and lettters) but cannot seem to find out where to change so that it is the right number of letters. (i think this is the problem).
Can anyone help please

Did you uninstall the old card before installing the new one and what type of card is it.
If using windows xp wireless setup then it should ask you for the wep key
