Configuring Acer Aspire audio.

  Nogueras 10:48 13 May 09

My Acer 5100 uses an audio processor chip/chipset ALC833, which is used in many PC's and laptops, along with several other such in the same family. My comments therefore cover a wide range of computers.
The technical data from Realtek states that all inputs and outputs can be 're-tasked', there are also many other functions, too many to relate.
Unfortunately the Realtek window which opens up when required, only supports a few of these functions. Presumably the remaining functions can only be accessed by software 'patches'.
My requirement is to re-task the audio in/outs, does anyone know how to attempt this? The ALC833 can do it but not with the Realtek programme as supplied. Thanks for any suggestions.
