Conditional Formatting

Can someone help with the following please:

1. When a date is entered in column AK that the row then changes colour.

2. When the word 'reject' is entered in column P then the row changes colour.

I know the basics of CF, using 'more than/greter than', but not entire rows, etc.

Many thanks.

It would help if you told us just what program you are using and what it is that you want to achieve! I assume the program is 'Excel'.

Thanks - the program is Excel 2003

The range is A5:AW2000

And I want to insert 2 CF's within range.

1.When I enter a date in column AK, then that complete row within the above range changes colour.

2. When the word "reject" is populated in column P, then that complete row changes a different colour.

When you have selected the range of cells that you wish the CF to apply to, you can select "format" and then select either font colour or background. Once selected, if the cell value meets your preset criteria, the colour of the cell or font will automaticlly change to that selected in the "format" section.
Hope that tghis makes sense.
