I have received an email from microsoft promotion team stating that I have won £100000 in the the end of year aniversary draws and I have to claim by emailing micro claims agent at yahoo.co.uk.
Sound to good to be true ?

The old maxim stands "If it sounds to good to be true, it properly is".
Ask yourself this-- If it was so important would you send an email or letter (registered)?

Certainly looks like a con.But if you are the only one to receive a letter like that,I am sure someone will have the free phone number for Microsoft that you could use,If it is a con they would probably like to know so that they can inform their customers,And if it's not, WOW!!

Do you know where would microsoft have got YOUR email address from?

Microsoft has always made it absolutely clear that it will only send e-mails to those who have officially registered with it.
