Check your Air vents for dust and fluff if any inside computer will also need cleaning out.
Make sure all the fans are working properly and are in a clean condition.

Following are the possible reasons of restarting automatically:

1. Software error.
2. Hardware error.
3. Overheating.
4. Computer virus.
5. Issue with operating system.
6. Virus Problems

Try to solve this problem using below steps:

• Click Start, then open Control Panel
• Click Performance and Maintenance
• Click System
• Click on the Advanced Tab
• Click Settings in the Startup and Recovery section
• Uncheck Automatically Restart in the System failure section

Any error message?

Auto-reboot disable:
When Running windows and it crashes you will get a blue screen and it will automatically restart, often it will restart too fast for you to see the error message.
To disable auto restart on system failure, so you can see the error message.

1. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> System (Windows+Pause works, too)
2. Go to Advanced
3. Under the Startup and Recovery section, click Settings...
4. Under System Failure un-check "Automatically restart"

Overheating usually cases a switch off but no auto restart.

A failing PSU will can cause a restart, at 6 years old a likely candidate.

Otherwise a software problem (or virus / malware) hence the question in my last post.

Always worth doing a scan for virus and malware before tackling anything else.

I have unchecked automatically restart under system failure.

On entering system in control panel I find a little picture which states

Hamid Crack for fun which obviously should not be there........................................

I have run PCTools Security,Malware Byes and SuperAntispy and the all say my system is clean.

But this little logo is still there,is it a problem.

Since I reset the advanced to uncheck automatic restart.
The Pc still tries to restart but freezes on the monitor with a load of blue flashes.

I have then to restart manually, any suggestions.
