Hi guys,

My computer has been running smoothly ever since i bought it but when i switched it on yesterday i found the following message.

Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
Windows root>\system 32\hal.dll

Pleae re-install a copy of the above file.

Ive read a few things on the net but Im not too clued up on these things so found it hard to make any sense of the suggestions. Anyone any ideas what I can do
