Hi,

im thinking about buildind a new computer but im also wondering how much diffrence it would make if i just upgraded my own, is there a web site or a program where i can input specific components and get a report on how fast each system would be.

Thanks

my current system is: upgrade to:
1900+athlon xp. 2800+athlon xp.
512mb drr menory. same but ddr400.
asus a7n8x M/B. keep same.
GeForce 3 64Mb G/C. fx5200 128MB.
40 GB H/d. add an extra 80GB Drive

or new system which i know will be loads faster:

MSI K8n platinum
512MB DDR400 Memory
Fx5200 128MB G/C
A64 3000+
120GB SATA H/D
And a 500w PSU.

Upgrading will cost me about £170 all new parts.
New system will cost roughly £450 but will get some cash back for current system.

Moneys tight thats why im saving on graphics card abit.

Some figures would be great

Thanks again.
