Computer shutting down, driver over-runing buffer

I'm having a right load of problems with my desktop computer.
1) it's become invested with spyware and trojans, including a dubious rogue anti-spyware programme called Virus Heat.
2) it's suddenly shutting down with the message "Driver has overrun a stack-based buffer"
3)I've downloaded an anti-spyware programme called SUPERantispyware, which has detected 246 problems, including the trojans, spyware and Virus Heat - BUT, the computer shuts down before it can quarantine them, giving me the 'driver has overrun buffer... etc' message.
It even does this in safe mode. So it's a nasty vicious circle.

Any help much appreciated.

In this type of case, you should remove your spyware in Safe Mode.

Aaah, well, that's just it, it still shuts down in safe mode, which makes it extra frustrating.
