Hello all, new computer, running XP Windows. The problem is that my youngest has pressed the on/off button several times on the pc and now it starts by saying System is running in Fail-Safe Mode: please recheck Bios Cmos Setup. Now i have to press f1 to let the pc carry on loading! I've gone into the Setup menu but i dont really know what i'm looking for, nothing seems to stand out that anything is wrong!
Any help would be nice,
morgueman

Would not want you to do to much in the Bios Cmos Setup for what has happened at this time on new system. (have you made any changes or altered system)

Can i suggest you powerup/start the system, and at the same time hold the power start button in till it shut off. Wait 30sec or so and try normal startup.Lets us know "if" any changes take place or other error messages come up.
