Computer reboots

Can any please help, my computer has started to reboot whenever it reaches 50c I have installed a new heatsink and fan and it still is the same. It usually occurs if I am running a game or anything that it graphic intense. I thought that it might have been a virus so I have done a reinstall but still to no avail. I have a P4 3.2 gig cpu and 1 meg of DDR ram, Asus P4C800E - Deluxe MB and a ATi 9800XT 256 meg graphics card.

I used to be able to play games without any problem but now I am unable to do anything that involves a lot of graphics without the dreaded reboot.
Any assistance would be greatfully received

Check in the bios to see what temperature is set as maximum. If it is 50C then that is quite low for a max. you can set it higher.
