Computer crashes

Still learning, but can any one give me any ideas why my computer crashes quite frequently

A lot more info is needed on this one gordi what o/s(operating system)ram etc etc newley installed progams when how..........you get my drift!!!! bretsky;0)

the crashes could be caused by many different things gordi,software or hardware conflicts out of date or incorrect drivers etc.

do you get any errors on screen?

what operating system do you have,is it xp? if so click here and update windows,this can fix many problems.

update your motherboard chipset drivers and your graphics card drivers from the manufacturers website also.

patch any games and programs from thier websites too.

if your computer restarts,try clicking start/control panel/performance and maintenance/system/advanced/start up and recovery/settings and untick the "automatically restart" box.next time it crashes you will get a blue screen with and error code displayed,note it down and type it into the searchKB box click here to look for a fix,you can also use keywords.
