My computer is a Pentium 11 333Mhz with 196Mb memory. It has started to crash on a regular basis especially when I am on line both in Internet Explorer and Outlook Express ( i have a dial up connection).
When the computer crashes the following error messages comes up :
An exception OE has occurred at 0028:C0002FCS in VxD VMM (01) 00001FCS. This was called from 0028:C000358F in VxD VMM (01) + 0000258F
A fatal exception 06 has occurred at 00C6:00000000
Incidently I have a V90 modular external modem connected to USB.
I have an idea it may be something to do with virtual memory. Can anybody confirm and how can I fix it ?

VxD errors are to do with virtual drivers. Update drivers for graphics card etc.
