Computer Boots itself.

Have noticed that my computer has Booted up during the night even though I perform a Shutdown. I have no 'Wake-up-on' functions set. And I have checked the Power Save options in Control Panels but cannot find any Link.

Kind Regards

Hi, The way I see it is, If it re-boots then you have enabled Task scheduling somewhere along the line. My set up is, everything is connected to a surge protector which is fixed at the back of the computer table. When I close down my machine, I switch off the surge protector because I do not see the point of having a half dozen peripherals all powered up when the computer is closed down. cheers, Bill
