Complicated Excel Spreadsheet Query again!

Overview:

I have a spreadsheet used to monitor pupils' work

Broken down into tasks in column C e.g.

I can do x y and z
I can save my work in a safe location

and they tick the box in column d next to the task if they can complete this.

I have done a Vlookup which works out the grades a pupil is working at - this works fine.

My problem is that I'd like to have "improvements" to the work, where it looks at the list of tasks in column C and the 3 improvements are the first three incomplete tasks.

How do I do this!

Well I would have a go but I'm not sure I understand what you want to do.

Try posting an example (with fictitious pupil names) showing what you have and what you want to achieve at click here (or another file sharing site) and provide the link.
