Compile error in hidden module: DistMon

I get the above message whenever I open/close MS Word or, Excel.

It only seemed to happen recently after my boss sent me an Excel file to edit at home.

Is it because it uses macros? (I don't use macros at home)

My Norton AntiVirus 2003 is up to date with latest definitions so I know it's not a virus, done a complete scan of hard drive, clean as a whistle so I'm stumped as to what it is.

Windows XP SP1
Office XP (no service packs installed yet)
All drivers up to date
Windows Update up to date!

If anyone help, it would be mucho appreciated!

In Excel to get rid of it try Tools/Addins and untick from the list.

Deleted Adobe Gamma Loader from start-up folder, seems to have worked (for now)

I've had Adobe Acrobat 5 (not the reader) & MS Office XP working side by side for the last year without problems (maybe it was the Acrobat update it did a week or so that did this?)

Thanks for your help VoG
