Compatibility of DOS software with WinXP Home

I believe that there is no way that a DOS based programme (Supercalc) can be run on a Windows XP OS based computer. Would be grateful for authoratative confirmation of this or an explanation how to do so.

Thanks in advance.

VoG.Thanks for suggestion. Problem is Supercalc is pure DOS programme, not early windows. I cannot try loading it cos cannot locate any C: prompt to do so.

Should ditch S/calc, but has v. valuable data I still use. There was a means of converting it to Windows around 1995, but I could not get extensive macros to work, so abandoned attempt.
