They have to be exactly the same to run as a pair

nvidia = SLI

ATI = crossfire

so it will much depend on what your MOBO will support...

Those cards are around mid-low end, so not really worth running in dual (SLI/Crossfire) configuration. You'll be better off getting a better single card for similar money.

When you reply, let us know your intended usage, PC case type (ATX, full-height) & PSU make+model. G

no reason to get an old card now as there are ati dx11 cards to suit all pockets.

Im looking to spend 700-800 pound on the fastest future proof pc there is. Cougar has quoted me this

AMD Phenom II 965
8GB Ram
500gb hdd
DUal 1gb cards from the ones above
no OS
Mini case 700w psu
22 inch monitor
I want at least 2gb of graphics power or equivalent within my budget

id love all these key features for my budget or at least a similar quad core and processor speed

cheers guys

Matt

DUal 1gb cards from the ones above..

If you are a serious gamer you wouldn't consider any of the VGA cards you have listed especialy the 9500GT which is a complete donkey of a card...

i wish i could afford a less bovine card lol so were counting out the 9500 then
