Compaq Evo N610c DVD-ROM does not Autoplay

  alexgray104 14:19 26 Dec 06

I seem to have a fault with the DVD-Rom in my laptop, it doesn't autoplay. For example if I put the Microsoft Office CD into my desktop it autoplays and loads the setup program, but on the laptop I have to navigate to it via My Computer > Dvd Drive etc.

Anyone have an idea on rectifying this?

Thanks in advance for your much appreciated help.

My computer > whatever your drive name/letter is > right click > properties > autoplay

Cheers for the quick reply. It all seems fine in there, set to autoplay and come up with the little box if I put a disk in with music / pics, watever. It just doesn't do it when I put a disk in!
